TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- The advisor to the CEO and the head of the social responsibility secretariat of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) announced a 44% drop in the volume of petrochemical industry pollution in Iran, adding: “The amount of petrochemical companies' pollution has decreased from 66% to less than 22% at the end of last calendar year.”

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- The Director of Health, Safety, Environment and Passive Defense of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) said: “The development of the petrochemical industry in the new petrochemical hubs, including Makran and Parsian energy-intensive regions, will be carried out based on environmental guidelines.”

TEHRAN (NIPNA) – An official with the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) says Iran’s petrochemical industry needs an investment of 7 to 10 billion dollars for realization of its plans each year.
