TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Iran has started construction of Sadaf Petrochemical Project for production of raw materials needed in making green tires. The project is the first one of its kind in the Middle East region.

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Iranian deputy petroleum minister in petrochemical affairs says 16 major petrochemical projects are expected to come on-stream by March 2017 (end of the next Iranian year), adding 10 million tons/year to the country's production capacity.

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Iran will see 25 million tons/year added to its methanol production capacity within the next few years, head of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) said.
