Members of the oversight
faction met with Hassan Abbaszadeh, the deputy petroleum minister and CEO of
the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), at the NPC headquarters. They
commended the efforts of the petrochemical industry’s workers and were briefed
on the current status of this value-creating sector.
The faction emphasized that
the personnel of the petrochemical industry are at the forefront of the
“economic jihad” and stressed the necessity of supporting the Ministry of Petroleum
and the NPC in their endeavors to rebuild damaged facilities and meet the needs
of downstream industries.
During the meeting, the CEO
of the National Petrochemical Company presented the current situation of the
industry and outlined the plans in place to ensure its sustainable production,
highlighting its role as a driving force in the economy.
