TEHRAN, April 9 (NIPNA) — Iran’s Deputy Petroleum Minister and CEO of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), Hassan Abbaszadeh, visited petrochemical facilities in the Mahshahr Special Economic Zone on Thursday to inspect damage following recent attacks.

During his field visit, Abbaszadeh assessed the technical extent of the damage sustained by the units, which Iranian officials have attributed to strikes by the United States and Israel.

“We will compensate for all damages by relying on the capability and determination of domestic experts, and we will move toward reconstruction with strength.”

He announced that a system has been established to assess and register the damages, promising state support for the affected companies to ensure the facilities return to production as soon as possible.

Abbaszadeh also emphasized the importance of supporting human resources and providing assistance to the families of those killed in the recent incidents, stating that the welfare of personnel must be a top managerial priority.

During his visit, the Deputy Minister honored the victims of the strikes and commended the crisis management efforts of local officials in the Mahshahr region.
