Seyed Mohamad Reza Movalehzadeh, the provincial governor,
commended the organization's swift and extensive efforts, which included
round-the-clock work to drain surface water and provide aid to affected areas,
during a site visit to critical parts of the city. He highlighted the
"timely deployment of logistical equipment and intelligent resource
management" as crucial factors in managing the crisis and alleviating
public concerns.
Hassan Abbaszadeh, deputy petroleum minister and CEO of the
National Petrochemical Company (NPC), emphasized the petrochemical industry's
commitment to supporting the public. He directed that logistical support and
machinery from the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone and its resident companies
should continue at full capacity until the crisis is fully resolved and all
areas are cleared.
The Petrochemical Special Economic Zone Organization, under
the guidance of its crisis management and passive defense command, deployed
numerous high-pressure pumps, vacuum tankers, sludge trucks, and support
vehicles from the onset of the heavy rains. This collaborative effort between
the provincial government, the petrochemical industry, and local executive
bodies has been described as a testament to the government's resolve to protect
public welfare and utilize industrial capacity to address infrastructural
challenges during emergencies.
