In a message, Abbasezadeh, who also serves as the Deputy Petroleum Minister,
extended his sympathies to Imam Mahdi, the Iranian nation, and the broader
Islamic community, as well as to the staff of Iran's petrochemical industry.
"The glorious Islamic Revolution of Iran, exemplified by the noble verse
'And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and loss of
wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient' (Quran
2:155), has always been subject to divine trials and has emerged victorious
each time," the statement read, referencing a Quranic verse.
"Undoubtedly,
the mission and ideals of the جهاد (jihad/struggle) of that great leader will never cease,"
Abbasezadeh stated.
The NPC head affirmed that the petrochemical industry workforce across Iran, in
solidarity with the nation, remains committed to the country's development
strategies. He assured that employees will continue their work with steadfast
determination during this period of mourning.
