TEHRAN, March 7(NIPNA) - Iran's National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) announced on Sunday that fuel supplies to the capital Tehran and the neighboring Alborz province remain stable, despite missile attacks on energy infrastructure overnight.

In a statement, NIORDC reported that several oil storage facilities in Tehran and Alborz were targeted in a "Zionist-American enemy" attack on Saturday evening. Firefighting crews are currently working to contain and extinguish the blazes.
"Prior preparations were made to minimize product reserves," the statement said, adding that fuel for the two provinces is now being supplied "stably from other sources."
The company reassured citizens that the supply chain for fuel to these key provinces has been secured through alternative distribution channels following the incident.
