Calvin Tafadzwa Mbanje, Operations Manager of Ship It Adhesives,
said his company—an epoxy flooring manufacturer—attended the exhibition
specifically to find Iranian suppliers of polymer materials. “This is our first
time sourcing from Iran, and we’re here to secure direct access to reliable
supply lines,” he told NIPNA.
Mbanje emphasized that consistency and affordability are key
priorities for his company and that sanctions do not deter their willingness to
cooperate with capable Iranian firms. “We are always looking for direct and
cost-effective sources, and we see the Iranian market as a promising avenue,”
he noted.
He added that participation in the expo has allowed them to explore
new partnership opportunities through meetings with Iranian businesses.
Iran Expo 2025, taking place at the Tehran International Permanent
Fairground from April 28 to May 2, hosts over 1,000 Iranian companies and
welcomes delegates from 111 countries. The event aims to showcase Iran’s export
capabilities in both goods and engineering services and to foster new business
and political ties.
Petrochemical products featured at the expo are organized into four
categories: methanol, urea, chemicals, and polymers.
