Speaking on the sidelines of the third Petrochemical Industry Health
Festival, Emadi highlighted the successful organization of the event and the
warm reception from the large petrochemical community. He stated that the
primary goal of the festival was to promote a culture of health among employees
and their families.
After a gap of 11 years, the festival was revived, with events held in
the special economic zones of Asaluyeh and now in Mahshahr. Emadi noted that
ensuring the health of petrochemical workers is a core responsibility for HSE,
especially in terms of maintaining the health of employees and their families.
"Our main goal in this festival is to promote health awareness among
employees and their families, encouraging self-care practices, and teaching
employees to protect themselves, their loved ones, and colleagues," he
added.
The festival was organized at the Bastat Complex, with the timing set
after working hours to ensure maximum participation from both employees and
their families. Emadi emphasized the importance of family involvement in
supporting employees' health. "We expect families to play an active role
in helping us maintain the health of our workforce," he said.
Looking ahead, Emadi expressed optimism about achieving the goals of
the Health Festival through its revival, adding that the event would also
showcase the health and wellness initiatives undertaken by petrochemical
companies in the industry.
