TEHRAN (NIPNA) – The head of Iran’s National Petrochemical Company (NPC) has emphasized the industry’s role in carrying forward the legacy of the Islamic Revolution, calling each success in the sector a continuation of that historic movement.

In a message marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Hassan Abbaszadeh said that Iran’s petrochemical industry remains a pillar of economic progress, contributing to national independence and self-sufficiency.

"The Fajr Decade reminds us of a great historic milestone when, 46 years ago, the Iranian nation united in faith and determination to achieve independence and dignity. Today, our progress in the petrochemical sector is a continuation of that revolutionary movement," Abbaszadeh stated.

He praised industry professionals for their expertise, dedication, and perseverance, highlighting their critical role in Iran’s economic development. Abbaszadeh also extended his congratulations on the arrival of the Islamic month of Sha’ban, commemorating the birth anniversaries of revered religious figures.

"Undoubtedly, the path to further progress in the petrochemical sector will be paved by your unwavering commitment, knowledge, and tireless efforts," he added, expressing hope for continued industry growth through unity and collaboration.

Iran’s petrochemical industry has been a key focus of government policy, with officials emphasizing its role in economic resilience, non-oil exports, and countering sanctions.
