Speaking at a ceremony marking the leadership transition for
the company’s Production Control Department, Abbaszadeh emphasized the
department’s critical role in governance and facilitation within the sector.
Abbaszadeh highlighted that leadership transitions should be
viewed as valuable opportunities for driving the petrochemical industry’s
development and achieving balanced growth.
He described the Production Control Department as one of
NPC's most crucial divisions, underscoring the importance of maintaining strong
partnerships with both holding companies and private-sector petrochemical
complexes to ensure industry-wide cohesion and effective operations.
"The Production Control Department functions as a key
policymaker and regulator for petrochemical holdings and companies, making it
essential to leverage all available resources in support of production
complexes," Abbaszadeh stated, adding that this department plays a pivotal
role in fostering collaboration across Iran’s petrochemical landscape.
Reflecting on the evolving responsibilities of the
Production Control Department over time, Abbaszadeh noted that each era has
brought unique challenges and requirements. "Today, companies need the
support and backing of NPC as a governing entity to create conditions that
enable growth and vitality across all petrochemical enterprises," he said.
The appointment of Saeed Baghbani as the new acting head of
NPC’s Production Control Department follows an executive order by the NPC
board. Abbaszadeh also extended appreciation to Bijan Chegeni for his
dedicated service in the role.
