The appointment, announced by Petroleum Minister Mohsen Paknejad, cited Abbaszadeh’s extensive experience and dedication to the industry. "In light of your valuable background and commitment, I hereby appoint you as the acting head of the National Petrochemical Company. It is expected that you will diligently oversee the company’s affairs and missions," the statement read.
Paknejad extended his best wishes to Abbaszadeh for success in fulfilling his new responsibilities.
In a separate message, the oil minister also expressed gratitude to Morteza Shahmirzaei for his efforts and services during his tenure as CEO of the National Petrochemical Company.
