During a ceremony held earlier today, Minister Javad Owji lauded the
concerted efforts of Morteza Shahmirzai, Deputy Minister of Petroleum and NPC CEO,
along with industry stakeholders. The event marked the signing of memoranda of
understanding for the study of development projects across 16 gas fields,
valued at a staggering $6.4 billion in investment.
"I extend my gratitude to my esteemed colleague, Engineer
Shahmirzai, and am pleased to witness the positive developments within the
petrochemical sector," remarked Minister Owji.
He further highlighted significant achievements, including
advancements in production growth, entry into gas storage facilities, the
production of gasoline from methanol, as well as investments in gas field
development and flare gas recovery.
"These milestones, centered around the NPC's leadership, signify
substantial progress in our industry," Minister Owji concluded.
The NPC continues to spearhead initiatives aimed at bolstering Iran's
position in the global petrochemical market, aligning with the nation's
strategic vision for economic development.
