Engineer Morteza Shahmirzai, the Deputy Minister
of Petroleum and the NPC CEO, issued decrees appointing the secretary and
members of the Strategic Council for Energy Management in the petrochemical
industry.
The establishment of this council aims to
systematically guide energy management in the petrochemical industry to reduce
inefficiency, create added value, ensure sustainable production, and prevent
environmental pollution.
As reported, Seyed Morteza Ashrafi Shahrir was
appointed as the secretary and a member of this council, and executives from
petrochemical holdings, along with several managers from the National
Petrochemical Industries Company, were appointed as members of the Strategic Council
for Energy Management in the petrochemical industry.
This move is part of the ongoing efforts in the
petrochemical sector to enhance energy efficiency, promote sustainable
practices, and contribute to environmental protection. The Strategic Council is
expected to play a vital role in steering the industry toward more responsible
and environmentally friendly energy consumption.
