Through the diligent efforts and dedication of the management of NPC,
Dock Number 17 at Phase 2 of Assaluyeh is fully prepared for the export of the
produced ammonia.
The final stages of the design, construction, installation, and launch
of this dock, under the stewardship of NPC and all project entities, are
underway. Soon, the first vessel for transporting ammonia will dock using the domestically
produced cryogenic loading arm.
With a length of 300 meters, the dock has the capability to
accommodate ships with a capacity of 25,000 tons for docking operations.
According to the report, Docks 16 and 17 at Phase 2 of the Assaluyeh
Petrochemical Complex have been constructed explicitly for the final exports of
petrochemical complexes, enabling the loading of various petrochemical
products.
The operational execution of these docks has been entirely undertaken
by capable Iranian companies.
