Morteza Shahmirzai, speaking today (Sunday, 5th of Azar)
during the ceremony commemorating Basij Week, attended by Sardar Rasoul Sanayi
Rad, the political deputy of the office of the Supreme Leader's ideological and
political command, remarked, "Basij is the loyal army of God, and the
values and principles of the Basiji are ingrained and intertwined in the
petrochemical industry."
Highlighting the perpetual presence of Basij industrial
forces across various national domains, Shahmirzai emphasized their unwavering
commitment: “During the 8-year Sacred Defense period, the developmental era,
humanitarian aid in natural disasters, confronting enemies' conspiracies, and
enduring complex and unjust sanctions, the Basij in the petrochemical industry
has stood steadfast.”
Shahmirzai added, "Today, Basij members in the
petrochemical industry are earnestly striving and working so that many of the
industry's needs are met by capable Iranian producers."
He expressed, "Iran's petrochemical industry is on the
path of progress and development, aiming to complete the value chain as a
significant objective on its agenda. It is hoped that this value-creating
industry becomes an inspirational and successful model for the development of
other sectors."
Additionally, at the conclusion of this program, outstanding
individuals in employees' sports competitions during Basij Week were honored.
