Morteza Shahmirzaei, while touring the complex, received
detailed briefings on the ongoing production and export activities from the
management of the Kurdistan Petrochemical Complex.
The Kurdistan Petrochemical Complex, built on a 129-hectare
plot with a foreign investment of 257 million euros (equivalent to 3,800
billion rials), boasts state-of-the-art equipment, components, and high-quality
materials as key features.
Furthermore, it was highlighted in the report that as part
of a meticulously planned strategy, the Kurdistan Petrochemical Complex
annually produces 300,000 tonnes of low-density polyethylene. The raw materials
for this production are sourced from the ethylene pipeline in the western
region.
The visit of Morteza Shahmirzaei to the Kurdistan
Petrochemical Complex underscores the government's commitment to monitoring and
supporting the growth and development of the petrochemical industry, ensuring
it remains a vital component of Iran's economic landscape.
