Reza Nakoui, Director of
Investment at the National Petrochemical Company, spoke to Nipna News and
highlighted that the IranPlast International Exhibition is one of the largest
polymer industry exhibitions in the Middle East and the most prominent event
for complementary and intermediate petrochemical industries in the country. In
its 17th edition, it has received an unparalleled welcome from both domestic
and international companies.
He added, "Given the
extensive polymer market and its continuous global growth, this exhibition
provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge and technology, as well as
meetings between investors and industry stakeholders."
Nakoui stressed the
importance of completing the value chain and offering products with higher
added value, which he believes should be pursued through the organization of
such exhibitions. He also emphasized that investors should identify export
opportunities in this dynamic industry due to its favorable returns.
He continued, "With
the planning in place to reach a production capacity of 19 million tons of
polymer products by the year 2027, this goal will be achieved with the
participation of visionary thinkers and industry leaders in this field."
The Director of
Investment at the National Petrochemical Company further noted, "During
the course of this exhibition, foreign investors from various countries,
especially neighboring nations where these products have a significant market
share, will visit the exhibition."
Nakoui mentioned that,
according to the plans, executives of active companies in the petrochemical
industry from different countries, as well as ambassadors and economic
advisors, will not only visit the exhibition but also engage in discussions
with Iranian companies.
