During a meeting held on Tuesday (29th of Khordad), Morteza
Shahmirzaei, along with Alireza Zeighami, Advisor to the Minister of Petroleum,
and the CEOs of Petrofarhang Holding and Sepaher Energy Holding, highlighted
the significance of reducing raw material sales as a crucial strategy in the
path of petrochemical industry development.
Shahmirzaei underscored the importance of all petrochemical holdings
and companies moving towards creating higher added value.

in cooperation and collaboration to facilitate a balanced development path,
especially in certain products such as methanol, which require greater

Petrochemical Research and Technology Company, saying, "With the reliance
on our researchers and experts, this company can meet many of the country's
petrochemical industry needs in various sectors."
The CEO of the National Petrochemical Industries Company emphasized
that through accurate decision-making and the provision of necessary capital,
holdings can meet many downstream industry needs. In this regard, there are desirable
capacities in various regions of the country, particularly in petrochemical
hubs, which can be effectively utilized.
He emphasized the necessity of new investments in the development of
complementary and downstream petrochemical industries, stating,
"Petrochemical complexes, by producing final products and diversifying
their production basket, can achieve higher added value."
Shahmirzaei added, "Holdings and petrochemical companies should
carry out their development activities in accordance with existing laws and
regulations, in coordination with the Ministry of Oil and the National
Petrochemical Industries Company."
During the meeting, attended by members of the board of directors and
senior executives of the National Petrochemical Industries Company, Hamidreza
Najafpour, CEO of the Cultural Heritage Investment Fund, Alireza Babazadeh, CEO
of Petrofarhang Holding, and Ali Yari, CEO of Sepaher Energy Company, each
expressed their challenges and difficulties in the construction and completion
of their development projects.
