The test delivery was launched after Hassan Neshanzadeh Moghaddam,
deputy for planning and business development at Persian Gulf Petrochemical
Industries Company (PGPIC), visited PGBRC's facilities and reviewed the
progress of its development projects and production status.
He also inspected the site preparation for the construction of a new
value chain project for PDH/PP Bidboland by PGPIC, which will use ethane as
feedstock.
Neshanzadeh Moghaddam said PGBRC was one of the largest gas refineries
in the Middle East and had a significant role in supplying feedstock to
petrochemical plants in the region.
He said PGBRC had increased its production capacity from 56 million
cubic metres per day to 76 million cubic metres per day by implementing several
development projects.
He added that PGBRC was also implementing a major project to collect flare
gas from Rag Sefid 1, Pazenan recovery, Aghajari 2 station, Eisaar power plant
and NGL 900 and 1200 pipelines, which would reduce environmental pollution and
increase gas recovery.
He expressed hope that PGBRC would soon become a leading model in risk
management and process safety knowledge in the global class.
