The meeting on reviewing strategies for developing and promoting
international interactions in the petrochemical industry with the aim of energy
diplomacy in order to expand Iran's petrochemical export market was held with
the presence of Iran's ambassadors in Brazil, India, Tanzania, Burkina Faso,
Serbia and consuls general in Guangzhou China and Aktau Kazakhstan.
Other goals and axes of this meeting were to develop comprehensive
relations with neighboring and aligned countries with the Islamic Republic of
Iran and introduce capacities, facilities and capabilities of Iran's
petrochemical industry, as well as examine solutions for facilitating exports
of this value-creating industry.
The meeting was attended by Morteza Shahmirzai, deputy petroleum minister
and CEO of the National Petrochemical Company, members of the board of
directors of this company, CEOs and representatives of petrochemical holdings,
as well as the secretary general of the Employers' Association of Petrochemical
Industry.
