The first
session, titled "Explaining the Petrochemical Value Chain", featured
presentations by Hassan Abbaszadeh, NPC's planning and development director,
Reza Mahdipour, CEO of VCM Group and CEO of Petronad Asia, a petrochemical
company.
The session took place
from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the amphitheatre of building number one at the
Tehran International Permanent Fairground.
The second
session, with the themes of "Methanol Value Chain" and "Catalyst
Document", included presentations by Majid Daftari, CEO of Petrochemical
Research and Technology Company and heads of research and development groups of
the company.
The session was held
from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the same venue.
NPC is a
subsidiary of the Iranian Petroleum Ministry and is responsible for the
development and operation of the country's petrochemical sector. It is the
second largest producer and exporter of petrochemicals in the Middle East.
The 27th
international oil, gas and petrochemical exhibition, which runs until Saturday,
is being held under the slogan "Oil Industry, Technology Production and
Optimal Consumption".
