TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- NIPNA interviewed Yana and Ksenia, representatives of LLC TECHNOCENTER, a Russian company that develops, manufactures and sells base oil and chemical additives for drilling fluids, on the sidelines of the 27th Iran Oil Show in Tehran.

The Iran Oil Show is the largest oil exhibition in West Asia and one of the biggest in the world. It started on Wednesday, May 17, and will run until May 20 at Tehran’s Permanent Fairground. More than 200 foreign companies from 13 countries are participating in the event, along with thousands of domestic companies.

NIPNA: How do you introduce your company and its products?

Yana and Ksenia: We are from LLC TECHNOCENTER, a Russian company that develops, manufactures and sells base oil for drilling mud preparation based on reverse emulsions for drilling both on land and on water. We also develop and implement a wide range of chemical additives for drilling fluids. All components of our system are matched together, and thus the prepared solution has predicted parameters.

NIPNA: What are the advantages of your products compared to other competitors?

Yana and Ksenia: Our products have high quality, stability, efficiency and environmental friendliness. They can reduce the cost of drilling, increase the rate of penetration, improve the wellbore stability and prevent formation damage. They can also be customized according to the specific needs of each project.

NIPNA: Do you have any experience with Iranian companies or projects?

Yana and Ksenia: No, we don't have any experience with Iranian companies yet. But we are very interested in cooperating with Iran in the field of drilling fluids. We think that there is a lot of potential for exchange of experience and technology between Russia and Iran in this field. We are also willing to work closely with the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry and share our knowledge and expertise.

NIPNA: Do you plan to open an office or a factory in Iran?

Yana and Ksenia: No, we don't need to open an office or a factory in Iran. We can supply our products directly from Russia or through our partners in other countries. We can also provide technical support and training for our customers online or onsite.

NIPNA: How do you see the prospects of cooperation between Russia and Iran in the oil and gas industry?

Yana and Ksenia: We think that there are many opportunities for cooperation between Russia and Iran in the oil and gas industry, especially in the fields of exploration, production, refining and petrochemicals. Both countries have rich resources, advanced technologies and experienced professionals. We hope that by participating in this exhibition, we can establish contacts with Iranian companies and authorities and start fruitful cooperation in the near future.
