The agreements were signed with Maroon and Morvarid
petrochemical companies. The signing ceremony was held in the presence of the Minister
of Petroleum, and representatives from Nipna were also present.
The first contract signed was for the granting of
the right to use technical knowledge (license) and preparation of the process
design package for the linear light/heavy polyethylene production unit with an
annual capacity of 310,000 tons between PRTC and Maroon Petrochemical Company.
The second agreement signed was a memorandum of
cooperation for the use of technical know-how in the production of polyethylene
terephthalate with Morvarid Petrochemical Company.
The agreements were signed simultaneously with the
14th IPF.
Experts and technologists from over 15 countries were
present to discuss topics such as investment and financing opportunities,
optimization of energy, and emission-free production.
The signing of the two agreements is expected to
boost the Iranian petrochemical industry and facilitate cooperation between the
companies involved.
