Ayub Banavi said on Wednesday at the opening ceremony of the 16th Iran
Plast International Exhibition that the petrochemical industry is important and
such importance has caused the decision makers and producers of this
value-creating industry to bring together Iran Plast.
He considered the first characteristic of this industry to be the
creation of high value added, which directly affects the country's
economy and gross production, and added: “Creating a nominal capacity of 95
million tons of petrochemicals per year is a driving engine for moving the
national economy, employment prosperity and finally, it is an important factor
in the stable and balanced development of the country.”
The director of Iran Plast exhibition continued: “One of the most
important pillars of a country's sustainable development is the feature of
"investability" in its economy and industry, and Iran's petrochemical
industry, especially the downstream sector and its complementary chain, is a
very ready and suitable platform for attracting capital.”
Banavi stated that holding the Iran Plast exhibition is a good example
of the fact that with any amount of capital, in different job groups, you can
be active in the downstream petrochemical sector. And finally, it is the
beginning of partnerships that are born from the heart of this important and
international event.
Pointing out that the other feature of this industry is its important
and fundamental role in the field of job creation through production in chemical
and petrochemical clusters and developments, the director of Iran Plast
exhibition continued: “In this regard, useful measures and special plans have
been implemented in the 13th Administration.”
