Morteza Shahmirzaei, who is also deputy petroleum minister for petrochemical
affairs, while honoring the government week, underlined the company's actions
in the past year and the change of approaches, and said: “Naturally, with the
change of administration, the approaches to various issues also changed.”
He added: “Relying on domestic power and localization of equipment is
one of the approaches of the 13th administration in the petrochemical industry.
In this regard, according to the plan, by the end of the first term, all the
catalysts needed by the petrochemical industry will be localized. With the
approval of the petroleum minister, it was decided to prepare and finalize the
comprehensive catalyst document in the first year.”
Shahmirzaei said: “Another of the company's measures to support
domestic manufacturing was to stipulate that petrochemical projects use
domestic equipment as much as possible in granting permits and approvals in
principle.”
