Speaking on Monday, May
16, on the sidelines of the 26th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and
Petrochemical Exhibition, Javad Owji told reporters that the showcase is one of
the largest and most prestigious oil and gas events in the world with 1,200
domestic and foreign companies participating in the event.
He said: "On the
sidelines of the 26th Iran Oil Show, which was much more enthusiastic than in
previous years, many contracts and agreements were signed."
Referring to the
President's remarks on the export of technical and engineering services during
his visit to the 4-day fair on its last day, the Minister of Petroleum said: “Iranian
manufacturers and knowledge-based companies have become very powerful over the
years, so they must take big steps to export their services.”
Emphasizing that energy
diplomacy has been very active under the 13th administration,
especially in the Latin American countries, Owji added: "This year, the
Ministry of Petroleum will launch more than 40 new projects worth $30 billion and
our main support for equipping these projects are domestic companies.”
