“The company also plans to complete the
polypropylene production chain,” said Mahmoud Aminnejad in an interview with
Shana.
Outlining the performance of Bidboland
Persian Gulf Gas Refining Company in the previous calendar year which ended on
March 20, he said: “Last year, Bidboland Persian Gulf was one of the strong
arms of the National Iranian Gas Company in supplying gas to the neighboring
provinces; in the worst critical conditions of the cold months of the year, this
complex refined about 30 million cubic meters of gas per day and delivered it
to the country's gas distribution network.”
He said that the Bidboland Persian Gulf Gas
Refining Company was one of the companies that offered at least $10 million a
week to the Nima system in the previous calendar year, adding: "Mahshahr
petrochemical plants faced a shortage of feedstock before launching Bidboland
Persian Gulf Refinery, but are now operating at full capacity.”

Refining Company added: “The operation of PDH project for propylene production
from propane with an annual capacity of 450,000 tons will begin soon and this
company plans to complete the PP production chain.”
