Development of Petchem Export Markets Tied to Interaction with Foreign Ministry

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- The petrochemical companies of the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone, during the visit of senior executives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphasized on increasing the support and cooperation of the ministry in order to facilitate the development of export markets, technology transfer and investment attraction.

Mir Massoud Hosseinian, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director General of the Middle East and North Africa, Seyed Rasoul Mousavi, Director General of South Asia, and Peyman Saadat, Assistant Minister and Director General of Western Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Saeed Koozechi, on the second day of their trip to Mahshahr, visited Navid Zarshimi, Ghadir, Fanavaran, Arvand and Maroon petrochemical complexes.

The CEOs and managers of petrochemical complexes during the visit presented reports on production, exports and investment, voiced their problems and issues and called for increased support and cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to facilitate export development, technology transfer and absorption. New investments were made.

Hassan Neshanzadeh, CEO of Arvand Petrochemical Plant, in this visit, referring to the favorable production process in this petrochemical complex, called for the support of the country's diplomatic apparatus for foreign financing and the attraction of valid licenses in the development of the petrochemical plant.

Hossein Saffari, CEO of Ghadir Petrochemical Plant, said that cooperation with well-known petrochemical companies could lead to significant achievements.
