Hassan Abbaszadeh said: "This specialized meeting was
held on Wednesday in the presence of CEOs of Iranian holdings and petrochemical
companies and some guests from the board of directors of the European
Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and the CEO of QMS (Germany’s Quality Management
Services), as a representative of the EFQM Foundation in Europe, which provides
training related to excellence awards.”
He noted that eight rounds of excellence awards in the
petrochemical industry had been held so far based on the approval of the board
of directors of the National Petrochemical Company in back in 2010, adding:
"The purpose of holding the Excellence Award is to organize improvement
projects for petrochemical companies based on a comprehensive model."
The Director of Planning and Development of the National
Petrochemical Company stated that the EFQM model leads growth and development
in 9 criteria, namely, leadership, strategy, employees, business partners and
interests, processes, customer results, employee results, community results and
key performance results simultaneously.
He continued: "Iran's petrochemical companies are evaluated
every year based on this model, which is also used in many countries and
industrial and non-industrial companies."
