Behzad Mohammadi, who is also Deputy Petroleum Minister for Petrochemical
Affairs, met with representatives of the European Quality Management Foundation
(EFQM) on the sidelines of a specialized panel called International
Organizational Excellence in Petrochemical Industry, which was held on Wednesday
at the conference hall of the National Petrochemical Company in Tehran.
Professor Hans Schneider, faculty member of the European
Quality Management Foundation (EFQM) and Advisor to the CEO of BMW, and Dr.
Markus Gardov, CEO of Germany’s Quality Management Services Institute (QMS), discussed
the importance of expanding constructive international interactions with top
world-class organizations.
Behzad Mohammadi, while pointing to the importance of
signing a memorandum of cooperation between the PetroAward for Excellence and
the German Institute for Quality Management Services (QMS), said: "The
purpose of signing this training memorandum in the field of organizational
excellence is to provide Training, Evaluation and Use of European Quality
Management Foundation (EFQM) Database in the Iranian Petrochemical Industry.”
He said: "Considering the role and position of the
petrochemical industry in the development of Iran, we promise that in the near
future, the Iranian petrochemical industry will be a competitive and leading
industry in the region.”
In addition to Mr. Schneider and Gardoff, Mr. Mohl, Vice
President of the European Quality Management Foundation (EFQM) and Boomel,
Member of the EFQM Model Edition Design Committee and CEO of the Bosch Group,
delivered a speech and presented the latest knowledge and best practices in the
field of organizational excellence.
