Mohammad Ahmadzadeh, on the sidelines of a specialized event,
told reporters that 60% of Bu Ali Sina petrochemical products were currently
exported and about one billion dollars worth of products were exported by the
company annually.
He said a project to sweeten the naphtha feedstock of the plant
is under way and would come online soon.
Ahmadzadeh stated that construction of a new para-xylene
unit in the facility had already started by Iranian contractors and
manufacturers, adding the largest petrochemical tower in the Middle East would be
installed in Bu Ali Sina Plant soon.
He went on to add that a major project to modernize the para-xylene
unit of this company would be launched during the next Iranian calendar year.
The CEO of Bu Ali Sina Petrochemical Company, referring to
the localization and internalization of various types of catalysts required for
this aromatic plant, emphasized: "Currently, with the self-confidence of
Iranian manufacturers and knowledge-based companies, the field of designing and
manufacturing various consumer goods in the petrochemical industry is
provided."
