TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Congratulating the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zeinab Kobra (PBUH), Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh thanked all the nurses in the country for their 24/7 fight against coronavirus.

The text of the message of Mr. Zangeneh, on the occasion of Nurses Day, reads:

"The 5th of Jamadi Al-Awal, the anniversary of the birth of Hazrat Zeinab Kobra (PBUH) and Nurses Day is a good opportunity to appreciate the round-the-clock efforts of the nursing community.

“Nurses are a working class of society in from whose hands kindness and self-sacrifice blossom and with their tireless efforts, they put a smile of health and well-being on the lips of current patients.

“In the days when the international community is facing the problem of the outbreak of the coronavirus, the servants and toilers of the country's health system, especially the valuable brothers and sisters of the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum Health Organization, are using all available capacities to fight this pandemic modestly and diligently around the clock. I, hereby, thank and appreciate these dear colleagues and ask God Almighty for their increasing health and success."
