According to the public relations of West Islamabad Petrochemical
Project, Seyed Abdul Azim Pela Saidi said over a thousand jobs were created in
construction of the plant, adding, "Since the knowledge of petrochemical
production in Iran has been localized and we have the right raw materials at
our disposal, the price of Iranian petrochemicals is very reasonable and
attractive in world markets."
West Islamabad Petrochemical Plant is the fourth
petrochemical facility in Kermanshah, western Iran, and it will be the driving
force for the construction of downstream petrochemical industries in the
region.
