Gholamreza Tajgardoon told NIPNA that the opportunity to
take over global markets should be used for the country, adding support for the
downstream industries is also one of the advantages of the sanctions is more
attention to the balanced development of the petrochemical industry and
completion of the value chain domestically.
Noting that converting crude oil into value-added items has
become a more lucrative business than ever, adding, "Although sanctions
have created challenges, the United States cannot impose sanctions on oil
derivatives such as petrochemicals, so we must seize this opportunity."
Tajgardoon stressed that Iran can take over the global
market on a large scale with a variety of petrochemical products and a slight
increase in production and supply of these items.
Gachsaran's representative in the parliament continued:
"The items produced by the petrochemical industry are the raw materials
for many sectors of the Iranian economy, and in this regard, it is very
important and is always considered by the country's policymakers."
