Hassan Neshanzadeh said his company
was one of the largest producers of chlorine chain in the world.
He said the installed
capacity of the facility was 2.8 million tons per year and entailed Chloralkali,
Ethylene Dichloride and Vinyl Chloride Monomer (EDC/VCM) and PVC Suspension and
Emulsion (SPVC/EPVC) units.
The company could also supply
600,000 tons of caustic, 300,000 tons of SPVC and 40,000 tons of EPVC annually.
He said in addition to
supplying its required chlorine, the complex also supplied the needed chlorine
to Bandar Emam, Ghadir, Karoon and Khuzestan petrochemical plants.
