According to the plant’s public relations, Bahman
Behzadi, vice chairman of the board of directors of the company, said the company
supplied 1,066 tons of propylene on March 10, the highest output for the company
in ten years.
Behzadi appreciated the company’s leadership and staff
for striking such a production record, saying the company is now touted as the
largest producer of polypropylene in Iran.
The official further said that the plant was built for
909 tons/day of propylene, while its output was 157 tons more than its
installed capacity on the day.
Jam Polypropylene Company (JPPC) was established in
2004 at Pars Special Economic Energy Zone in Assalouyeh, southern Iran.
The company produces various grades of polypropylene under
the "JAMPILEN" trademark. The company can supply up to 300,000 tons
