Speaking to NIPNA, Mehdi Shabankareh said all the
items were commercialized already, adding the company had so far registered patents
for 33 industrial and applied items, some of which have no foreign rivals,
"Some of items are being produced for the first time in Iran like wax graft,
max graft, white nanoscale masterbatch and adapters which were being sold at
one forth of the price of their foreign rivals," he said.
The official said prior to the 12th IranPlast
Exhibition, his company had started negotiations with petrochemical companies,
which will hopefully lead to the commercialization of some of their products.
Shabankareh, referring to the IranPlast exhibit,
added: "We have unveiled 14 knowledge-based products for the first time in
the showcase, some of which are either patent or patent-pending."
"Since the domestic market for petrochemical
products is very expansive, we are not concerned about the sale of our
products, and our focus is on domestic sales, and foreign companies can also
use our products through our Iranian partners," he added.
