The company supplied 841,000 tons of products during the 11 months, operating
at 75% of its nameplate capacity.
However, the company's CEO says it will be fully productive in the
coming year given the arrangements and plans devised for its operation.
"Given improved feedstock supply to the plant, our company is
operating at 75% of its rated capacity which we hope will reach 100% next [calendar]
year," he said.
The CEO further added that plans are under way to increase the facility's
ethylene output by 30% in the future to bring it from currently 500,000 t/y to
650,000 tons per year.
He also said that the plant exports 95% of its MEG output to such
countries as China, India and Turkey.
