Jalil Jafari told Shana that opportunities in the sector must be grabbed, and this has been widely stressed by the parliament and the administration of President Hassan Rouhani.
He said solving the country's economic problems must be prioritized over other issues, and said, "Investments must be made in areas where the country is behind so that businesses will boom and this can only be possible by completion of the value chain."
He also hailed the administration for making headway in bolstering the industries of oil, gas and petrochemical, and said the parliament (Majlis) is bent on materialization of the country's prospects in the upstream and downstream sectors.
He said the Iran we see today is light-years away from the country before the sanctions, and this is a fact that incoming foreign companies who travel to Iran to hunt out investment opportunities after Iran's historic nuclear deal, must be aware of.
