The plant's output was 97% of its nameplate capacity due to the lack of ethylene required for production of polymers, said Hussein Sabaq.
The plant's daily output is at 30 tons of different petrochemicals, he said.
Kermanshah Polymer Plant is constructed is an area of 60 hectares with the nameplate capacity of 300,000 tons of polyethylene annually.
The plant is one of the numerous petrochemical plants constructed along West Ethylene Pipeline.
Initiated in 2002, the pipeline is to carry ethylene from Assaluyeh, south of Iran, to western provinces of Khuzestan, Lorestan, Chaharmahal Bakhtiari, Kohguiluyeh Boyer Ahmad, Kermanshah, Kurdestan, and West Azerbaijan.
More than 11 petrochemical plants are to be fed by the pipeline.
